Stevie Chalmers Book of Remembrance

Celtic Football Club have created this book of remembrance to celebrate the life of one of Celtic’s greatest ever goalscorers, Stevie Chalmers.

Messages have come in from around the world, and from fans of all clubs. We are grateful to everyone who has taken the time to pay their respects.

My Dad (John) was in Lisbon for that Fantastic Day & without your goal we would not be celebrating 1967 & would not be singing to this day about going to Lisbon. You will forever go down in History for our Club, however will always be in the records of goals scored in European Cup Finals. Stevie Chalmers was a legend and a genteman , always remembered him for spending time before a match, talking with me and my pal , He had time for supporters ,this was in the mid 60's and had a lasting impression on me that has stayed with me , to this day !
