Thank you Stevie for all the good times you made me proud to be a Celtic fan ! I wrote to you a few years ago when you were part of the Celtic Pools team asking if I could bring my son Sean up to have a Celtic Park tour for his birthday ? You certainly made that dream come true for him as you organised it and met us both at the entrance for a meal and took him down to dressing room to meet players before watching the game !!!! God bless you Stevie,a true Celtic Legend and a terrific gentleman.

I am deeply saddened by Stevie passing away and so soon after Billy. I was at Billy funeral service at Saint Aloysius on Friday. I was brought up in garnethill and served as an altar bhoy It was sad enough at the loss of Billy but to loose Stevie made it doubly sad. They were both true heroes Billy being the best captain ever and Stevie the most charismatic goalscorer ever. God bless you both

Farewell to a classy player who scored Celtics most historic goal to date may he Rest in Peace. A great Celtic servant and stalwart . Was also responsible for the Celtic pools for which I was an agent at the time and still am. He bled Celtic through and through, a gentleman whose humility should be an example to us all.
